Large scaffold storage box, ideal as a rustic planter. Also great storage for books, magazines, records, toys etc.
Made with reclaimed scaffold boards which have been sanded, cleaned and waxed for protection.

The price is for one storage box with either four swivel castors which are 7cm tall (two of which have breaks) or four hairpin feet which are 10cm tall.
The box itself measures approximately 90cm wide x 30cm deep x 22.5cm tall.
Overall height is approximately 29.5cm (with castors) or 32.5cm (with hairpin feet).
The castor wheels are 50mm diameter x 17mm thick rubber, an a heavy duty steel plate.
The hairpin feet are two-pin, 10mm thick bare steel. They have been left raw for an industrial look, but are suitable to be waxed or painted.
The scaffold boards we use are reclaimed, so each board is unique and will have its own signs of wear depending on its age and how it’s been used. This is all part of the character of course but does mean that the colour and overall finish will vary from board to board, and will differ from that shown in the photos. The boards can have branding of the scaffold company name on the sides, cracks and dents, burns, paint remnants (especially on the ends where the scaffolding companies apply paint in order to identify their boards), metal nail plates and the odd staple or sunken nail. We sand the boards and remove any sharp nails etc, but we try to leave as much character as possible for an authentic industrial look.
Each storage box may have one or more metal nail plates and/or metal scaffold bands attached, depending on the scaffold boards we have in stock when we receive your order.

Free shipping is for standard delivery via courier to mainland UK only, for one item only. Delivery to Northern Ireland and UK Highlands & Islands may attract a shipping fee, as would an order for more than one item. Please contact us to check before placing your order. If you would prefer to collect in person (from Birtley, Gateshead) this can also be arranged free of charge.
